  • Account Information: Name, email address, phone number, and password when you create an account.
  • Profile Information: Display name and role (buyer, seller, carrier, or hauler).
  • Listing Information: Item descriptions, photos, pricing, pickup addresses (city, state, ZIP code), and delivery preferences.
  • Transaction Information: Payment details processed through Stripe, delivery addresses, and order history.
  • Carrier/Hauler Verification: Driver’s license photos, vehicle photos, insurance documentation, and background check information processed through third-party verification services.
  • Communications: Messages sent through the Platform’s in-app messaging system, contact form submissions, and dispute-related correspondence.

2.2 Information Collected Automatically

  • Usage Data: Pages visited, features used, and interactions with the Platform.
  • Device Information: Browser type, operating system, and device identifiers.
  • Log Data: IP addresses, access times, and referring URLs.
  • Cookies: Session cookies for authentication and preferences. We do not use third-party tracking cookies.

3. How We Use Your Information

  • Provide and improve the Platform: Process transactions, match buyers with sellers and carriers, coordinate pickups and deliveries, and resolve disputes.
  • Verify identity: Confirm carrier and hauler eligibility through background checks and document verification.
  • Process payments: Facilitate transactions through Stripe, including seller and carrier payouts.
  • Communicate with you: Send transaction updates, scheduling notifications, dispute correspondence, and service announcements.
  • Enforce our policies: Detect fraud, enforce our Terms of Service, and maintain Platform safety, including violation tracking and account suspension.
  • Legal compliance: Meet tax reporting requirements (including 1099 reporting for carriers and haulers) and respond to lawful requests from authorities.

4. How We Share Your Information

  • With other users: Sellers see buyer names and delivery addresses for fulfilled orders. Buyers see seller contact information and pickup locations. Carriers see pickup and delivery addresses for accepted jobs.
  • Payment processors: Stripe receives payment and payout information to process transactions.
  • Verification services: Background check and insurance verification providers (such as Checkr and Axle) receive carrier/hauler documentation for identity and safety verification.
  • Communication services: Twilio processes phone numbers for verification purposes.
  • Mapping services: Google Maps receives addresses to calculate delivery distances and drive times. No personal identifiers are sent.
  • Legal requirements: We may disclose information to comply with applicable law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request.

We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We do not share your information for third-party advertising purposes.

5. Data Retention

  • Account data: Retained for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion at any time.
  • Transaction records: Retained for a minimum of seven (7) years to comply with tax and financial reporting obligations.
  • Dispute records: Retained for as long as necessary to resolve disputes and enforce Platform policies.
  • Verification documents: Carrier and hauler verification documents are retained for the duration of active Platform participation plus one (1) year.
  • Communication logs: In-app messages are retained as part of transaction records for dispute resolution purposes.

6. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your information, including:

  • All data transmitted via HTTPS/TLS encryption.
  • Authentication tokens stored securely with session management.
  • Row-level security (RLS) policies on our database to ensure users can only access data they are authorized to see.
  • Payment information handled exclusively by Stripe — we never store credit card numbers or bank account details on our servers.
  • PII redaction in server logs.

No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. While we strive to protect your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the following rights regarding your personal information:

  • Access: Request a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
  • Correction: Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete information.
  • Deletion: Request deletion of your personal information, subject to legal retention requirements.
